July 29, Off to the Alps!

Home

Our trip to the Alps brought us to the Herrenchiemsee palace built by King Ludwig II in the 1800's.  We toured the ground and the palace itself.  To get to the palace, which is located on the Herrenchiemsee island, one must take a short trip on a ship, which we all enjoyed.  Beautiful weather is making this part of the trip a sheer delight.

The fountains in front of the palace were most impressive. Students were also treated to a tour.
