August 5, "A Day at the Theater"

Home

Our students were treated today to a theatrical version of the American classic, "The Wizard of OZ."  It was performed in a unique open-air theater built into the side of a rocky hill.  Before the performance, our students went on a short one-hour hike through the so called "stone laberynth," a place where huge bolders are piled on top of each other, sometimes in precarious ways.  Finally, after the performance, Frau Meidinger invited us all to her over 200 year-old house for lunch, coffee and cake.  A fitting end to a day of culture.
